Intentionally small classes create space for individual attention, meaningful relationships and teachers who truly know each child.
Purposeful experiences in early literacy, mathematics, science, language and problem-solving build strong foundations for the next stage of school.
Learning at CELA develops more than academics. We intentionally nurture confidence, communication, self-regulation, creativity and relationships.
Children begin learning how to make thoughtful choices, take responsibility, use their voice, care for others and lead with confidence.

At Compel Early Learning Academy, we believe the earliest years are an extraordinary window for developing not only what children know, but who they are becoming.
Our approach combines joyful academics, purposeful play, strong relationships, Christian character development and intentional opportunities for children to practice independence, responsibility and leadership.
Because young children learn best when they are known, challenged, encouraged and loved, CELA is intentionally personal.
Every child is seen.
Every child is known.
Every child is growing.
Every child can lead.
Children build early literacy, language, mathematics, science and problem-solving skills through developmentally appropriate instruction, hands-on exploration and purposeful play.
Children practice:
Recognize letters and sounds
Develop pre-reading and early writing skills
Understand numbers and mathematical relationships
Ask questions and investigate ideas
Build vocabulary and communication
Think, reason and solve problems
Preschool is also where children learn to navigate emotions, build friendships, express themselves, strengthen their bodies and become increasingly independent.
Children practice:
Social-emotional development
Communication
Fine and gross motor development
Creativity
Self-regulation
Friendship and collaboration
Independence
At CELA, leadership is not about being the loudest person in the room. For a young child, leadership begins with confidence, responsibility, kindness, courage and learning that their choices matter.
Children practice:
Using their voice
Making age-appropriate choices
Taking responsibility
Helping others
Working through challenges
Showing kindness and respect
Trying again
Celebrating the success of others

Meet Dr. Laci C. Robbins
CELA was created from a simple, but powerful belief: children are capable of far more than simply being kept busy until kindergarten.
Dr. Laci brings a professional background spanning education, neuroscience, and leadership to the design of the CELA experience. Her vision is an early-learning environment where strong academics and joyful childhood coexist. An environment where confidence, character and leadership are cultivated from the very beginning.
Unlike a distant corporate model, CELA is intentionally hands-on. Leadership is present, families are known, and the school community remains deeply personal.
“We aren't simply preparing children for their next classroom. We're helping shape the confident, curious and compassionate people they are becoming.”
— Dr. Laci C. Robbins
Learn. Grow. Lead.
Kindergarten readiness is more than knowing letters, numbers, shapes and colors. From the morning welcome to learning centers, outdoor exploration, music, art, science, literacy and circle time, each part of the CELA day is designed with a developmental purpose.
A well-prepared child can listen, communicate, follow routines, solve problems, work independently, participate in a group, manage frustration, ask for help and approach new challenges with confidence.
CELA intentionally develops three sides of school readiness:
Early literacy
Phonological awareness
Writing readiness
Number sense
Patterns and classification
Scientific thinking
Vocabulary and oral language

CELA is Christian faith-based and warmly welcoming. Faith is woven naturally into our community through: .
gratitude and kindness
prayer and biblical principles
service and the way we teach children to treat themselves and one another
Children learn that they are loved, created with purpose and capable of making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Attention
Independence
Self-regulation
Communication
Collaboration
Persistence
Problem-solving
